Mission Of The Partnership Program
The Music United Partnership Program works to unite schools from diverse backgrounds and communities through the power of music and/or performing arts.
How The Program Works
Music United connects a choir, band, dance, theater, etc. program from one school with a similar program from another school! The two schools work together to plan a day of shared art, community building, and fun through our unique five step process!
The Five Step Process
- Schools apply to take part in the programming through the Music United website.
- Music United’s team pairs two similar programs from two diverse schools. An email conversion starts between a Music United rep and the two program directors, beginning with an introductory email from Music United. An in person meeting or zoom meeting is set up to begin discussing logistics.
- During the meeting, the Music United rep helps the program directors determine logistics. These details include date, location, and most importantly . . . how the programs will UNITE.
- Music United aligns all necessary details/logistics; schools prepare anything necessary
- Students come together for their personalized day of shared art, community building, and fun!
